What is NCH – National Commission for Homoeopathy?

The National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) was established under the National Commission for Homoeopathy Act, 2020, enacted by the Parliament and brought into force on 5th July 2021. It replaced the erstwhile Central Council of Homoeopathy, with the aim of transforming and strengthening homoeopathic medical education and practice across India.


 Courses Under NCH Regulation

 UG Course – BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

  • Duration: 5.5 years
  • Curriculum: Modern anatomy, physiology, pathology + Homoeopathic materia medica, pharmacy, organon of medicine
  • Admission: Through NEET UG

PG Course – MD in Homoeopathy

  • Duration: 3 years
  • Entrance: AIAPGET (All India AYUSH PG Entrance Test)

 BHMS Admission Process Under NCH – NEET 2025 Based

From 2020 onward, NEET UG is mandatory for BHMS admissions, just like BAMS or MBBS.

  • NEET UG 2025 qualification
  • 50% in PCB in 10+2
